gcin (next generation of xcin)

#cd /usr/ports/chinese/gcin
#make install clean
#vi ~/.xinitrc
export LANG=zh_TW.Big5
export XMODIFIERS=@im=gcin
xgcin&
exec gcin -d &

you can use command gcin-setup to set up what your favorite Keyboard Layout/IME is
